Pumpkins are grown widely around the world as a vegetable. However, the plentiful flat oval seeds are generally discarded as agricultural residue. These seeds are uniquely flavored with nutty taste and consumed as raw, roasted and salted snack.

Storage

Store dried or roasted seeds in an airtight container in the refrigerator, no more than 10 to 14 days. For longer storage, place in the freezer.
